TFC 99B. I do not know why some people have argued about them being undefeated in PPL. I guess they think the scores do not count. They have made it a joke because they have nothing better to do with their time. My guess is that the boys worked pretty hard to go undefeated in PPL. I do not care what club you are a member of, that is an amazing poition to be in. I wish my kids team could say they were undefeated in a league they played in....

I don't believe anyone is discounting what they accomplished in PPL last season.

I believe the confidence of one poster and the guarantee of another undefeated season is what started all the drama.

Of the 21 teams only 12 played in PPL last season. So, either a lot of new teams or teams have changed clubs or names. Will be very interesting.

Most of D1 was pulled into classic through the challenge or byes through their clubs or joined a new club that had a bye into classic or just disbanded. The new names/teams are a big ? mark. May have to go see who is who.

I was told that one of these new mainly mexican based teams in PPL will basically do what the 98 Pachuca team did last year which is dominate and easily win in the challenge tourney unlike the TFC team was able to do this year! Laughing

That happens alot in the Plano League. You get rec teams that are told they are too good to play in their league and need better competition and the next thing you know they dominate the Plano League. Then win the challenge and start climbing their way to the top of Classic. In the 97 Bracket that is what RAYADOS DE MONTERREY did and they really are a good team. I love for out team to play them it turns out to be some of our best games played. But the point being you never know what is going to show up in Plano.

true and its that same kind of team who didn't do anything in QT but get smashed or went back to rec only to stay on a team that gets better each year "as a team" with no "real studs" and is able to get into classic league as the years progress and classic league players either get burnt out, switch teams,or just leave for other sports which leaves team with the weaker players who have been bench warming all those years but mommmy and daddy could easily pay those high cost club fee's for their BB to be on! now they have to play against who couldn't afford to play club bt have "true talent" for the game and not just years of "paid" training! affraid

Who is the TFC coach anyway? Feeling too lethargic with the heat back after one nice day to go look it up.

TFC 99 B White Dewi Francis

Did the Plano League have its Challenge this past weekend? If so can anyone tell me how the games turned out! I can't find it on the web site!

DF, watch him TFC, he wasn't with Liverpool for 2009/2010 he was there only long enough to steal a team and take it to the Aces. Seems he forgot to mention his time with the Aces.

There are not easy predictions this go around. Too many unknown teams. The HP Drifters may be one of the teams that make it into D1. They finished 5th in their division but on paper at least they did well in tournaments this Spring. Looked around for info on some of the new teams but there wasn't much to be found. Both HP teams are coming out of West Texas Premire League. Anyone know where Nexaca went? Saw them in a mini Elite tourney in the Spring but they didn't have enough players to play so Pachuca players helped them out. I'm thinking maybe they disbanded too. I know the Revolution disbanded, so the move to Andromeda was false. Anyone else got some info on any of the new teams? Checked to see if any teams moved from PPL to Arlington but found none so the rumor that teams may have moved there was false too. That's a lot of teams that left Plano in one year so it makes you wonder what is going on.

Looks like the bracket breakdown goes like this for the placement tournament
    Bracket A
    Mustangs
    TFC white
    Real Madrid
    Liverpool

    Bracket B
    Mesquite United
    FC Dallas white
    Hp Drifters
    Tlapehuala

    Bracket C
    Legacy
    McKinney Blackhawks
    American Eagles Blue
    Elite SA

    Bracket D
    Rockets FC
    Infinity FC
    TFC Blue
    Meja

    Bracket G

    Xtreme FC
    Barcelona SC
    Pachuca Guameru
    AFC(Aces)
    Ayses Black

    Any thoughts on bracket winners?
    Bracket A
    Liverpool
    Bracket B
    Hp Drifters
    Bracket C
    Elite
    Bracket D
    Rockets Fc
Bracket G(2 move up from here usually)
    AFC and ???

Bracket G in my opinion will be the toughest to determine since there are so many unknown teams.

Meja had some problems last year internally so I am curious if that was worked through or if players left because of it. Not sure what they will bring this year. Rockets did okay last year in D2 but with Legacy being an unknown I had to go for the Rockets. If Real Madrid is the team I am suspecting it to be, they were rec last year and played as 2000s. I plan on attending their game on Sat to see if it is indeed who I think it is. Elite was supposed to be getting some stronger players so I think they might pull ahead of American Eagles unless AE got some players that were a lot stronger than last year. This prediction stuff this year is a total coin toss. lol

Where did (or do you think) the Real Madrid team come from? Looks like they got a pretty high ranking. Not questioning your knowledge. Just wanting to know where they came from. Always wary of the team that shows up out of no where. As someone described earlier one of these new teams is rumored to be really strong. The questions is, which one?

Saw Elite play this weekend and it was not the same team I saw before signing day.

Saw Meja this weekend too. They looked solid.
