Anyone out here know if your team is playing?

Looks like a good tournament. Who is DSC?
Also wonder which DTS team signed up since they have 2 teams.
Overall going to be a great time for kids to play some soccer

After watching Odyssey this weekend in McKinney, I would think they will be the favorites.

I have to agree with u. I see them winning the tournament. It will be good to see my BB play against them just to see how he does against a strong competition.

Its really hard to tell definitively at this age because just the movement of a few players can skew some teams up/down. There is a lot of guesting and/or rebranding going on. Odyssey had a couple of strong kids this weekend who haven't typically played with them. Castro had bossed them and everyone else around consistently the last 6 months. Castro was missing a few kids. A few teams cores are stronger, but its all pretty fluid. And yeah, I look at DSC...say "who?" and dismiss them only to find out they have the core of one of the best teams with Lord knows who guest playing for them.

And its pretty hard to make many informed judgments about out-of-town teams, other than to say Houston normally has stronger soccer than OK or the Waco area.

Hopefully for everyone's sake its under 100.

Everybody knows the first rule off coaching is never take on and unpolished kid without a high skill level and allow him to sulley you reputation as a coach of developing players

Don't know about haters, but he has a lot of people asking him to train their kids. He's not the one knocking on doors, it's the other way around!

Ok, I understand that. I don't know him nor have I seen If he has an 03 team.

PP is not a bad coach and is generally a nice guy with a strong interest in youth soccer. As stronger coaches move ino the academy level it will make it harder for him to pull talent.

I don't really care if he's pulls in talent. This is academy and don't care if we are the best team. I like his training and so does my bb and that's all i care about.

"It must be the shoes." Now we know why you guys won last weekend. I pray you guys get 100% participation with the shoes next weekend in the Labor Day Tourney. That would be awesome.

I don't know if anybody else but the one kid whose parents are too broke to buy him new shoes wore them last week, so 100% participation will be a stretch. That said, that kid was about the only one who didn't say "my feet are burning up" last weekend. So maybe the magic shoes have great insulation. Well, that or they are white with green soles as opposed to mostly black.

they could be participating in the smaller Arlington tournament or potentially down in Austin at the tournament down there. Or, the coaches could be busy with the labor tourneys for their club teams. i was surprised as well not to see any of them.
