List looks like a QT tournament....I bet if it was, there be some BIG changes in the 97 seeding of some classic league teams...luck to all the teams.

Gold and Silver Divisions with 20 teams in Gold and the rest in Silver is what I am betting.

I heard a rumor that there was going to be a Gold and TWO Silver divisions (or maybe Gold Silver Bronze). In any case, what a huge turnout!

Solar Red for me also...but be very very very careful of Irving Elite.

Not going to argue with picking Solar Red...

Teams to challenge will be Irving Elite, Celtic, Omaha and possibly one or 2 other out of state wild cards. Not that I am an OK fan at all (the only reason TX stays connect to the rest of the US is because OK sucks) but there are decent teams they have.

Just curious, why the absence of the Texans teams? They having their club picnic this weekend?

Should be interesting and anything but a cake walk regardless of who makes it into the finals.

For the last couple of years, Texans have had a "required friendly" tournament on the labor day weekend. I'd assume they are doing that again - though perhaps it's not in DFW this year. Nothing on the Texans website.

Most all of the Texans in this age group played in Austin last weekend.

By the numbers, Irving Elite will walk through to the finals, then win it (against TX RUSH NIKE Or Solar Red) in a preview of an upcoming monster D1 season. They and the former DTRW are the ONLY D1 teams to actually improve their roster over last year.... affraid

As for brackets, my guess is no more than 12-14 in Gold, rest in 1 or 2 Silver brackets..

Let's not forget that one or two teams that bring in a few guest players every year to make them better. Seems every year you get a D-2 or lower D-1 into the semi-finals.

One of the top tournaments in NTX.....only if the Texans would play....but it's their lost.

Top 4 picks: Solar Red, IE, one FC Dallas Team (with guest players) and FWFC (the Sleeper.)

Treefrog you must either be a IE parent or know more than me...

For you to say that Irving Elite will walk through to the finals is mind blowing to me...I do believe they are good but from my understanding they only added a few OK players. It will be a great tournament but I agree with all above that Solar Red and Nike Rush will be in the finals.

But don't sleep on Fc Dallas Blue, they are also my pick in the semis. By adding some of Molinas boys they should be a great team.

Good point - I imagine Suarez will be adding loads of guest players to his team for this and will be more competitive than his normal team. He could be the sleeper team if he loads up like he usually tries to do.

The brackets are out....What do you think? 16 team Gold bracket should be a good one. Millennium in the Silver B they must be out to make sure they win this tournament. Just saying.... If you want to get better quit sandbagging people.

NO CAN DO!. The pre academys will be in chicago that weekend . You guys assume he loads up. HE did for ESPN to get the free trip .Smart, why not. Then took the same to Disney . In both cases he mostly took players that played for him in the past that were promoted up the ladder.

When I said he added some of Molinas boys I was not talking about guest players that he might ad for Labor day, I was talking about the 3-4 that are now on his roster from the premiere team. I believe he picked up some great talent and will be a team that will be tough to deal with.

TX Rush Nike and WSA should swap brackets, ( and to a lesser extent, Andro Red / Solar Gold), but otherwise good splits...

If TX Rush has truly been strip-mined by pre-academy (or stays in wrong bracket!) then Irving to win it all, no game closer than 2 goals until the final...

Watched them in AYSES 96 bracket - looked like a 96 team, they are big, fast and talented... believe they would place 5-6 in U16 D1

jesse only has promoted 3 players from his team and one was a keeper. one a very good player and the other as well but came off the bench for molina. dont get it twisted cause most off molinas team came from D Castro's team. jesse will take what he can to help him advance as far as he can but it wont be enough as IE will be tough and SR lost their top 2 players to pre- academy. so i will take IE to win
