IT will be interesting to finally see how some of the top teams in classic shake out with the loss of players to preacademy

    Bracket 1
    FCD
    PUMAS

    Bracket 2
Tejanos (made some nice additions from SR)
Tigres/Cobras (not sure how tigres will do after losing a few players)

    Bracket 3
    Comets
Solar (not the same solar from last year...)

    Bracket 4
    RM
    LP

Bracket 1 looks to be the closest/ "Group of Death"... 2 #1 ranked gotsoccer teams in their states, Wichita and Tennessee, and FCD #6 in NTX Pumas #16 in NTX

Should be a good tournament... hopefully the weather is cool

I've seen a lot of D1 98 soccer over the last 4-5 years and I s&%t you not, the most amazing 98 boy I've ever seen play is #10 for Pachuca/Gameru SC. If you have a chance and you're out tomorrow, look for him in the Silver Division. Klinisi you better get your scouts out for this boy. Even though it's probably a given he'll play for Mexico someday, since his dad played for Mexico.

Guameru is playing at a low to mid-D1 level. Pity the poor D3 opponents who will have to face them in CL this year. Wouldn't be surprised at 100 goals scored by them in CL for 2011-12 year.

That is the Coaches son. From what I have been told the coach played in the first division in Mexico. He will be playing academy soon. The kid can run all day long and is very unselfish.

Yep, I'm sure the FCD coaches drooled all over him during Sueno MLS, where he came in 3rd place even though he was competing against 16 & 17 yr olds.

    Division Winners:
Gold - Real Madrid - Will there be a new #1 in D1 this year?
Silver A - Guameru - What exactly is a a Guameru? Too bad they have to waste their time in D3 this year.
Silver B - Hawks - Nice championship for this team, at about the right level of competition.

Once again a great tournament; interesting tournament results too.
