    97B D1 Sep 17 - 18

Post  RytMid on Wed Sep 14, 2011 10:47 am

Based on what I have seen so far, here are my guesses for this weekend. Let's see yours. Enjoy the 80-90* temps and good luck to all teams!

    Saturday:
Elite vs DTRD - Is this the clash of the titans? Both teams coming off of close wins last week. Elite will find a way 2-0
FWFC vs FCDG - FWFC gets first win 1-0
FCDB vs Andro - 1-1 draw
Tigres vs FCDC - Central squeaks this one out 2-1
Solar vs DTFW - could be game of the week. Both teams clawing for the win after tough losses last week. I'll take FW 2-1

    Sunday:
DTFW vs FCDC - FW 2-0
FWFC vs FCDB - Blue 3-1
FCDG vs DTRD - Texans 3-0
Solar vs Tigres - Solar gets back in the saddle 3-1
Andro vs Elite - Elite 4-0

IE had more possession, especially in the first half and scored off a cross that went untouched. IE also had more shots and hit a crossbar. DTRD came out in the second half and attacked more efficiently. DTRD had more shots on goal and had one goal called back on a good/bad call depending on who you are routing for but overall a good game.

Good game? I bet IE would love to have that game back, except this time with their full team and a different official. IE had 3 injuries due to deadly fouls in the first 10 minutes of the game. Their 2 best players plus their keeper. Bad luck? Maybe? Dirty soccer? For sure!! OH! That goal wasnt a "call back" goal. Texan forward elbowed the goalie, or "back up" goalie I should say. The golf car with the trainers went ahead and parked their cart next to the field it was so bad.

You MUST be joking... "Deadly Fouls" LMAO.. IE are as dirty as it gets. I personnaly heard an IE player tell his teammate in spanish "take them out". It was a hard fought game both ways. IE scored off a stop ball and DTRD scored off a beautiful combo. IE players try SO hard to hurt players they end up injuring theirselves. The goal that was called back (from the linesmans view) was a goal, unfortunatley the goalie screamed from the "deadly foul" therefore the center called it back. Sounds like you are a little hurt as well and may need someone to call the trainer as well... GEEZ.. GOOD LUCK TO ALL TOMORROW..

First of all you dumb a$$ it was a through ball to DTRD forward between IE back line and the forward our ran the right defender. You must have been watching a different game or better yet you were at the opposite end of the field to see what happened on the goal scored and the goal that was called back.. Take your blinders OFF... Medic is on the way to pick you up... keep crying

AND....... even with all that went on in this game DTRD STILL just tied. A real good team knows how to win without roughhouse soccer. I have seen EI play before and DTRD. A youth sport is already tuff. But DTRD just had no class in that game.

So I guess you are saying IE isnt a "real good team" cause they only tied DTRD? Why dont you count the calls IE received and DTRD received? Im sorry IE cant accept a tie. I am sure DTRD did not expect a a win nor a tie. Fact of the matter is it was a good game an IE doesnt want to accept that. I dont have a kid on either team I did watch the entire game and it was a normal U15 D1 game. I have not seen anyone on here cry about this game on DTRD team. I saw one post from T10 that stated exactly how I seen the game as well..

Did you actually see the game or did someone tell you about the game. "Deadly fouls", not so much, the player returned and played well. You right the goal was not a goal is was called back. To quote the ref,"player backed into keeper." The game was not dirty and both teams played with the same officials.

I do beleive that DTRD is one the softer teams in the league. Unless you went to Austin you've only seen this DTRD team play three times and if you have stop stalking. There was no rough stuff the first 3 league games.

Strange game. FW up 2-0 at half and controlled the 1st. FCD dominated the 2nd except for third one for FW. Both looked like two different teams in the two halfs.
