TFC 99 Boys are no longer undefeated. They loss to Dallas United today 4-2. The TFC 99 boys came out very flat and Dallas United capitalized on that by scoring 3 goals in the first 15 mins of the game. The TFC boys tried to make a comeback but a 3 goal deficit is just too much to come back from.
Great Game! As Seinfeld said, anything can happen when it comes to 12 year soccer.
Yep, with boys this age you never know.
Get ready for another tough game next Saturday. Pachuca is not the Pachuca of old.
They are a very balanced team. The move the ball well and play good soccer. I was very impressed with them today.
I watched the pachuca/Liverpool game on saturday and both teams played a very "kickball" style of soccer. There wasn't any combination play in the final or middle third. So where are you getting they moved the ball around well?
Neither team created much chances on goal the entire game. Pachuca finally put a lucky goal in but the game was both teams just kicking it as far as they possibly can. Thats not an example of moving the ball well and playing good soccer.
It sounds like you are being a little bias b/c your son plays for liverpool.
You got up that early to come and watch Liverpool play?
I would agree with your assessment of Liverpool's play. I thought they played well for the first 10 minutes and not so good after that.
We played Dallas United in the Plano Labor Day. I did not see much difference in their play and the play of Pachuca. I think they are both nice teams that played some good soccer.
My son does play for Liverpool and I will pick them to win every game they play. Even when I know they are totally outmatched. I fully support whatever team my son plays on. I support the coach, the other parents and all the kids on the team. That is just how I roll. I have never said they would go undefeated. I have never said they would win the league. I believe they are capable of much better soccer than they played the last several games. Only time will tell.
I hope the boys continue to work hard, develop as players and as young men. I will be proud of whatever they accomplish. Every Saturday I will report our score (good, bad or otherwise). I will be happy to discuss what I saw in the games. I don't hide behind excuses or blame someone else.
As for Pachuca. I shared what I saw and what I believe. You dont have to agree. They were the better team on Saturday. I tip my hat to them and wish them good luck for the remainder of the season.
Your boys get their chance against them. I believe it will be a good game. Just as I believed the Dallas United game would be a good game.
