Ok. So we have 5 takers so far. My question is where are some of the regulars from last year? There were many (over the course of the year 23 different handles participated) but Chillaxing, GoldenGoal, R1 were regulars. Where are you? How about some new individuals?

Through the first three weeks the collective group has had a 53% success rate in choosing the outcome of the various matches. Looking at the patterns D1 has the highest accuracy at 3.17 correct/week followed by D2 (2.75) and then D3 (2.17). Looking forward I would expect that the accuracy to increase as all the teams settle into their brackets.

Keep it up, SoccerXXX. It took me 2 days to read through last year's predictions and finals to get the hang of it. Newbie, ya' know. When I'm feeling froggy, I'll jump, but know that there are many who enjoy reading the work that you do without ever saying a word. If you keep posting, they will come.

Thanks Freckles. Hopefully posting the picture and not building a table will help with understanding. The actual work is pretty basic. Always like to hear analysis from the experts. In keeping the statistics it is pretty clear that a good number of posters have an excellent understanding of the various teams and how the stack up against the competition.

Last Call. I plan on posting final predictions early afternoon.

Sorry for not posting the spreads on Friday but here are the results (Assuming Comets/TFC White were 0-0).

Overall Jimulon6 and EarBucket has 10 of 15 matches correctly picked but with at total of 31 Goals predicted Earbucket is the winner.

A couple of observations: The Tigres/Craft was indeed the matchup expected from the boards though only IndyFC predicted Tigres would win. In D2 Only Indy picked Andro Gold to prevail over NTX Strikers. In D3 the Commets/TFC White tie was only predicted by Mavericks67. The general feel was TFC White over Comets by 1.5 goals.

The matches of the week (D1-Tigres/Craft, D2-Toros/FCD, D3-FWFC/Liverpool) all were decided by 1 goal with D1 and D2 being 1-0 wins and D3 being a 2-1 Win.

All this sum's up to a great weekend of Soccer!! Hope all the bb's are enjoying their time on the pitch!
