My son dropped down to PPL and is playing up a year. He is playing SO MUCH MORE and is enjoying it more.

Strikers enjoy first while it lasts. Kick ball and offside trap won't win the division. Comets 3-1.

Judging from their scores, it appears the kickball is working well, however they need some improvement on the trap. I haven't seen them play, but cannot believe it is all kickball. They put up 4 goals on Blue, which I think is a good team and would have been able to handle them if they played just kickball.

I have to admit, I am quite surprised by the number of teams playing over the top kickball...I was expecting more possesion.

There has been some talk about the PPL teams and who plays possession vs. kickball. I believe there are some teams that have runs of possession and good build up. But the majority play the ball over to top and try to use speed and strength to create scoring opportunities.

I don't really think the first three weeks are a true indicator of how these teams will perform going forward. My BB's team needed to knock off some rust, they hadn't played a game in about 6 weeks when the season started and had very little practice due to the excessive heat. I am sure it was that way for most of the teams so they should all start playing better with each passing week.

so do most but it means nothing more than those teams WON games at the right times to be where they are or got byes to be in classic league,hell alot of teams still use the bigger faster harder kicking kids to win games in classic league but the skilled players will soon find their way onto top teams in the next few years!

I feel like most of the teams out there employee the more skilled players as they should, but when time ticks away, those teams ultimately rely on the "bigger /faster" striker's to win games. I see it all too often that in a game , ball squirts out over the top to that lil speed demon camped out @ midfield who in turn runs it down the throat of a somewhat unsuspecting keeper

man ill tell ya im am suprised about alot of teams but the PA sprinkled down and hurt even the D3 teams that i thought were strong! and that being said i wonder what teams will look like come next season with the first year PA players drop off those teams and come back to D1 and it pushes players back down to D2 and D3? I feel like alot of smaller clubs will pick up some nice quality players soon when parents get wise to the big 4's BS! that being said if i were a gambling man i'd be watching you closely! for pix that is!

yea they lost 3 players to D1 teams but picked up 6 from D1
