Seen it happen way too often with other teams

or do you have two personas and forgot to switch to the other cheerleader personality?

I'm very surprised of the Liverpool Result. I knew Liverpool would win that game but I was expecting a 5-0 or 6-0 victory. I wonder what happened? Is Liverpool not playing well as of late? Just checking b/c there have been several games i thought they would win 2-0 or 3-0 and then the results come back and they've won 4-2 or 3-2.
Congrats on the win but was just curious on whats going on with Liverpool.
As we talked about before, you must take care of your fall season opponents b/c your spring season looks very tough..............Legacy FC, TFC, HP Drifters, Dallas United, and Manchester Blue. Neither of these 5 teams are a walk in the park. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Lost. Very slow start in the 1st half. Started to come back in the 2nd half but it was too late. Seems to be a habit they will have to get out of. We lost players due to injuries (a broken toe and a knee injury)and my son is out for life due to a heart condition that can cause sudden cardiac arrest. So they are now down 3 starters and I think it is effecting confidence. They have had some bad luck with injuries this season. They still have a great talent base and can do very well even down some players but they have to start the game playing instead of waiting till the 2nd half. Once they get that going, they will bounce back and start showing how good they really are.
SoccerGenius99 wrote:Seinfeld4 wrote:I thought the same thing. I caught a little grief for saying they were a very nice team when they beat Liverpool. I wasn't trying to justify a loss. I thought they were a much improved team and they beat us. No excuses!
Per tonight's game at halftime.................Dallas United has alot to answer for in the next few days or so. Be on the lookout for all of there games being forfeited.

Sorry to hear about your son.
I have a friend at work that collected some golf equipment for a U13 soccer player with this same condition. He thought it would be a good idea to introduce the young man to another sport he could play for the rest of his life. Is that your son? If so, I donated the set of PING irons and I have been praying for you son and your family.

Sounds like one and the same. He got his clubs last Sat and is getting ready for some lessons. Thanks for the irons and your prayers. We find out Friday how we proceed from here. The clubs came just in time. I think my son was starting to fall into a bit of depression. Soccer was his life and he loved it. He seems really excited there is another sport he can play(Golf) even though we don't know much about golf. Upside, at least he doesn't have to put up with all the parents/coaches yelling on sidelines anymore.lmao![]()
Bigdaddyblue wrote:Thanks all. He has a friend of ours that is working on getting him some lessons for golf but thanks anyways. I appreciate the offer. He still sits with his team at games to support them so we will be out there and I will continue to post.lol even if I don't have a dog in the race so to speak. Looking to get my son coaching next season(maybe a U5 rec team) so he wont be out of soccer forever. Just a new Chapter!
BTW 1-500 people have this and many don't know it until it's too late. We got lucky. If you have an athlete(even if he appears to be healthy as a horse like my son) get him/her checked. It takes so little time to do it and it could be a life or death difference.http://www.4hcm.org/ has a risk assessment form you can look at and make the call about getting checked. In Italy every athlete has to be checked before they are allowed to play. It's really a easy thing that we don't do here but we should.
