Announcing the inaugural Bobby Rhine Fall Invitational presented by Market Street.
The Bobby Rhine Fall Invitational presented by Market Street that will be held on November 25-27, 2011 at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX. Your team will receive 3 top matches against high-level competition and the opportunity to win the trophy as champions!!! This is a Got Soccer tournament, is sanctioned by North Texas Soccer, US Club Soccer, and US Soccer and hosted by FC Dallas Youth. All games will be played at Pizza Hut Park.
Tournament is for competitive U10-U19 boys teams only and features include:
•A gift for every player
•3 games in pool play, then playoffs
•GotSoccer Tournament
•North Texas, US Club Soccer, US Soccer sanctioned tournament
•U10 Academy will play 11 v 11
Fees are as follows:
U10 teams $375
U11-U19 teams $600
Bobby Rhine spent more than a decade with the organization both as a player and member of the front office. After ending his playing career following the 2008 season, he remained as a key figure with the club making valuable contributions in both community development and broadcasting. Bobby was selected in the First Round (sixth overall) in the 1999 MLS Super Draft. During his career, Rhine appeared in 212 games for Dallas, making 136 starts and playing more than 12,000 minutes. He scored 23 goals and recorded 34 assists. His goals total is good for eighth all-time in the FC Dallas record books, while his assists total ranks fourth behind Jason Kreis, Oscar Pareja and Ronnie O’Brien. The 35-year-old passed away suddenly on Monday evening, Sept. 5, 2011.
