    WEEK 7 FUN FACTS:

TOTAL GOALS SCORED: 44 (previous week 42, two weeks ago 41, three weeks ago 34).

AVG GOAL COUNT BY WINNING TEAMS: 4.7 (previous high 3.7).

    AVG GOAL COUNT BY NON-WINNING TEAM: 0.7 ( previous low 0.8 )

TOTAL GOALS SCORED BY WINNING TEAMS; 36
TOTAL GOALS SCORED BY NON-WINNING TEAMS: 8

AVG VICTORY MARGIN: 4.0 (PREVIOUS HIGH 2.9)

AVG GOALS PER GAME: 4.4 (PREVIOUS HIGH 4.2)

Upset of the Week: Manchester United over Titans. Not a single participant predicted a ManU victory. Its a major win for the underdog.

Match of the Week: FWFC v FCD Bazan ; confirmed by the 0-0 tie

    Other notable outcomes;
Solar Blue in a draw with LP Keegan; all participants predicted a Solar Blue win.

The DTS victory margin over Anoranza. Virtually every participant predicted the victor correct but no one seemed to anticipate the actual spread in point. The 8 point margin is a surprise.

    FUN FACTS #2:

Two new participants; cts & hatrick
    Missing this week; bb_01_keepers_dad

    CORRECT PREDICTIONS;
Three ties this week. Ties seem to throw a wrench in the prediction average.

    7 lovescr01
    7 Madcap
    7 anselansel
    7 hatrick
    6 Majortom
    6 Rocketeer
    6 getafe01
    6 Kids Soccer, Right?
    6 peregrino
    6 cds3
    6 cts
    5 scrdad
    5 slampg
    5 PG-Boy
    5 krowdkontrol
    5 chino
    5 98and01

    Avg # Correct: 5.9 (Previous week 6.6)

Reasons for the lower average of correct predictions this week:

    (1) The ManU upset over Titans
    (2) Solar Blue tie with LP Keegan
    (3) FCD Bazan tie with FWFC

Rocketeer was the only person to predict the exact score of the FWFC-FCD Bazan game, at 0-0. Hatrick and Kids Soccer, Right? predicted 2-2 ties.

Four accurately predicted a 1-1 tie in the DT Craft v Wizards match; getafe01, peregrino, anselansel, & cts.

What happened to the Titans? No disrespect to ManU (Looks like they played like they had us used to), but did the "2-players-practicing-somewhere-else" zaga had an impact on this game?

I do not think so, there have been no changes in that team, and as noted before the boy(s) had written permission to practice, all this was just gossip -- :) :) :) good gossip :) :) :)

Bad loss for the Titans if they want to make the top 10 at the end of the season.

Do you have a YTD total for who has the most correct predictions? Or everyone's % of correct since some have not particpated each week.

I'm too lazy to search through the other posts.
