97 Post Em, Should be an interesting weekend

Post  You talking to me? on Fri Oct 14, 2011 8:27 pm

A couple of games THIS weekend will determine who's going to be playing in the DC in the U15 Bracket.....

FC DALLAS CENTRAL, IE, and FC DALLAS BLUE are all great contenders, who will come on top and who will get left out?

    Any predictions?

My BB (who's played for FC Dallas Blue in the past, now with Andromeda)and I made a bet, hes taking Suarez beating IE this weekend 2-1, I say they come out with a draw which wouldnt help FC Dallas Blue one bit.

All those teams in DC contention will be routing for FWFC to beat DTRFW so DT will not get the extra DC bid.

IE has FCDB and Tigres as the other game that counts. If IE splits they will get a bid.

FCDB needs to win and a FCDC loss or tie and DTRFW loss or Tigres win.

FCDC needs a win and that should do it.

SR needs to win both games vs FCDC and Andro and FCDB, DTRD and DTRFW losses so it will not go to goal differential with DTRD.

Andro also needs to win both games vs FCDG and SR. Losses by FCDB, DTRFW and FCDC would help with some goal differential if FCDB and DTRFW win.

DTRD is in but wants to finish in the top 3 so they will be playing for a win against Tigres which would also help DTRFW if DTRFW wins.

DTRFW needs to beat FWFC and have Tigres only get 1 pt. against DTRD and IE.

Tigres can throw a monkey wrench in with 2 wins or ties or getting more than 1 point against DTRD and IE.

It looks like DTRD, IE, FCDC and the winner of Andro and SR will all get bids.

FCDB has the best outside chance and DTRFW will have to wait till next week if they win to find out if they get a bid.

My PRE-DICK-SHUN. If FCDC gets the bid, the coach will ask them to throw the games so he doesn't have to attend... If he does he will make up some BS story as to the extra money that is owed due to his presence. And I thought others were givin things . This guy takes the cake..

    DTRD 1-3 Tigres

DTRD played well the first 5 minutes then had a WTF 75 minutes Rolling Eyes

Tigres had 3 golazos they were cheeky, great individual effort and a long range bomb.

Looks like DTR and IE has locked in a spot to the Dallas Cup...

We got 2 big games coming up Wednesday to see who will be joining these 2 teams at Dallas Cup, if Solar Red wins over Andro they will be in, if Tigres wins over IE and Solar Red loses to Andro, Tigres will be in, pending goal differential.

That would put Central out..... Sad

Good luck to all Wednesday .....

Guess I've been out-of-the-loop for a while - I'm totally confused... the first all-play-all 9-game round-robin just ended this Sunday, and yet there's some dangling games to decide on the Dallas Cup? scratch Guess i need to read the rules somewhere...if I had a dog in the hunt! tongue

The two games played on Sunday 10/17 were actually spring games. Those 4 teams play on Wednesday night which is actually the last fall game. That will decide which 4 teams are in DC. DTR already gets a invite so it's actually 3 teams

You might need to recheck the DC rules. If I read it corrrectly only the top 2 Classic leage teams qualify...if the host club (Texans) have teams in the top 7 of CL. The below information came from the DC website. Good luck to the teams playing this Wednesday.
