I post this as a Dad of kids who played soccer, both competitve and Rec, Varsity and JV, not as a Referee.
This ws in the Startle-gram yesterday and thought it was a good read. It is about baseball, but the parental side of it could be soccer, just as easily.

Absolutely hilarious and very well written. Completely applies to soccer, as well as any other youth sport, especially in the south and midwest.
