It’s a big weekend for the Texans. Texans need a win to control their own destiny to play in the Dallas Cup. I read the DC rules and I'm still not sure the DALLAS TEXANS 98B team is best team to represent the 98 division. The cup would never let a team with the Texans record of 2-1-4 having only scored 4 goals while giving up 10 goal in 7 games qualify for play… Those number will not get the Texans more than 3 and done in their DC stint.

I can’t remember does the DC have a Silver bracket the Texans could play in Question

Very Big weekend for the Texans. I dno't think they will beat the Pumas in the last weekend so if they lose to the Kicks and Pumas - they will be 8th or 9th and not qualify. That would put either Solar or Real Madrid in 3rd Place Classic League to take that last spot. Figure Solar PA and either DT PA or FCD PA will get the other spot vacated by the Texans.

DT PA vs FCD PA in about a week (Wednesday Night I think) or so will decide those teams fates.

I'll take Solar, Texans and Tejanos.

I think Texans will claim that DC spot and be a very different looking team come DC especially if their PA team doesn't qualify...

Sort of....one Dallas area PA team gets an invite - that will be Solar. If the 98 Texans CL do not make 7th or better it does not go to the 3rd place CL team. The first alternate is the 2nd place Dallas area PA team. You are correct, assuming they have to go to the alternate (meaning CL 98 Texans do not finish 7th or better), then the Nov. 9th game between DT PA and FCD PA will determine the alternate.

The Host Club gets two invites and since there is only one team in Classic 1 - the first alternate goes to the #2 PA team (Texans or FCD) and if DT Classic 1 does not qualify the 2nd alternate goes to the #3 Classic 1 team (Solar or Real Madrid at this point).

So If I understand the Dallas Cup requirments...Solars only shot at qualifying is if they beat the Tigres and RM looses to FCD Arias and finish with 19 points in third. They also need a win by the Kicks to move the Texans out of 7th and some help on the PA side.

I think we are going to make a call to the Cardinals and see how they pulled off their miracle win.
