This is pretty open ended. Any surprises, upsets, beefs or team reviews you care to share?

Anyone unhappy with their club? I heard Craft already lost 2 kids mid season. That's expected when you insult your kids.


I'll start.

D1
I guess the biggest shocker is FCD East performance. Can't tell what is going on. Not sure if those new kids messed up the teams mojo, but something is off. They seem to be getting more stuck in as the season progresses....which is good, because they were a really strong team.

DT Connell seems to be hanging in there. I think a few teams thought they would be a cake walk. Looks like some teams only had a 1 goal win. Plus a tie against Wizards and FCD East...good job. Keep hearing that Connell is treated like a step-child in the DT organization...which is a shame because he is a good coach.

Looks like Kevin Smith has cleaned up Partain's mess pretty good. He may have to do the same for his 01's because the are just barely getting by with last minute goals and drawing against teams they should be beating.

I think were starting to see the most dominant teams are starting to level out a little bit. The goals allowed are not as high as last year.

If you look at 01's D1 standings, the goals allowed is very similar to last years 00's D1 standings....points wise.





D2
As expected - It's a race between Andro White, Chivas and
Odyssey...with Tejano's nipping at everyone's heels.

Odyssey is well rounded with lots of force up front. Great talent on their team. Their coach gets the "loudest coach award" - You can hear him two fields away. Craft has nothing on him.

Andro has great D, very organized. Has the lowest goal allowed in the league...just no forwards to finish the ball. If that team had a forward, they would be competitive in D1.

Chivas... My only question is...how old is number 8 on the Chivas. Damn. He was taller than all the parents.


D3
I think Hurst United would do really well in D2. Good ball movement and speed.
