Re: Coaching Question
You are the one confused about what forum you are on. You have brought up American Football twice on this thread. Lou Holtz and Penn State. This is a soccer=futbol forum. You are a football hero worshipper. That leads to a 'fall from grace as others have experienced this year.' The other posters you are pointing your finger at have slacked off this year. You have taken over and you need to own it. I wish those others would come back because they didn't need to constantly prop up their son's team like you do. Good thing your enforcer, fatdog8815 came on to back you up. I never said that your coach was short. I don't know if he is because he doesn't stand up. I don't even know his name. I would like to see your bio, fatdog8815. Coaching high school football and lacrosse? You can't even read. Never said a thing about anyone being short!!??

Re: Coaching Question
You got me, my goal in life is to be the # 1 poster on this forum. You have exposed my plan.
I do support my son's team. If that makes me a bad guy then I guess I am a bad guy. I am not afraid to admit who I support.
I don't need an enforcer. I will be fine on my own.

Do not know why you feel the need for the personal attacks, but if you would like to know my bio, please introduce yourself after a game and I would be glad to share with you. ( Not a joke, very sincere)
I am glad that you are happy with your childs coach. I am sure that he does a great job and if you and your child are happy, that is all that matters. I to am happy with my sons coach.

Hmmmm So how many posts does one have to have before they can call someone out?
I thought this was a forum where one can express their opions and ideas. Is someones opinion worth more once they hit a certain number of posts?

Re: Coaching Question
Dang Worldsport has attitude. I like it. Play on!
Personally, I believe we spend too much time talking about our kids and ranking SDL teams and not enough time discussing the game. No one seems to care about the MLS playoffs, UEFA matchups, EPL drama, etc. Lots of soccer in the world!

A coach benches a bb, reason doesn't matter. Daddy gets mad, accuses coach of abuse. Because coach has "closed" practices, coach can't use other adults as witnesses to prove his innocence. What reason will hold up in front of a jury as reasonable for having excluded parents from practices?
Even if the jury finds the coach innocent, damage to his reputation is done!
If I do this, can I then get out of my contract.......?
You're brilliant!!!! Now, we have found "cause" for NTX!

Re: Coaching Question
I would hope that Seinfeld keep posting, I like the fact that he initiates topics and discussions which keeps these forums going. As the kids get older you see less and less chatter on the 95 and older boards. I like to read Axxman's comments a well along with some others like Omega. For some reason it seems that TFC 02, Soccer Genius, and Worldssport all have an ax to grind with Seinfeld and/or Liverpool - What's that fixation about anyway? Seinfeld seems diplomatic to a fault. Axx has funny, and insightful posts, and TFC 02/Soccer Genius/Worldsports are all arrogant tools (but I enjoy reading your posts regardless so carry on!)

Re: Coaching Question
I guess that is the cool thing about the forum. Everyone has their opinion and are entitled to it and can express it in their own way. Things do get heated once in a while but that is what keeps it interesting. You gotta love the passion that tfc02,soccergenius, worldsport, seinfeld and the others all display. At the end of the day, we just need to realize how fortunate we are to be able to watch our kids play such a wonderful game. I am guilty of sometimes forgetting that.

Re: Coaching Question
so are you comparing tfc02/soccergenius/worldsport to the three headed called godzilla/what?/ratfink ??? theres no comparison one is a coach trying to prove himself and the other is.............well......their more like the 3 assasins of nastiness on here and if you add in mothra or zorro more like the "four horseman"SMU1987 wrote:I would hope that Seinfeld keep posting, I like the fact that he initiates topics and discussions which keeps these forums going. Sein - don't let one bad apple spoil it. Keep posting! Could you imagine what it the site would be like without balance? Zero, Omega, BlogDOG, etc would run amok!
PPL needs its posters to compete with the holer-than-thou Classic (meant for humor...clearly Classic parents know more than PPL parents (sarcasm)).

Mothra not nasty nor a horseman. Coming from Asian society, cultural differences can easily lead to misunderstandings. Mothra like the witty banter of the boards. Some newbies taking cheap shots on this post for no good reason. Remarks are not even insightful. Need Godzilla to take care of crappy posts with fire breath after eating spicy Thai.
