Not sure how all this stuff gets figured out but here is what is weird....

Solar was in Bracket A to start and had the same schedule as others in Bracket A give or take an hour or so here and there when the schedules came out early in the week. Must have been an issue....because brackets then changed? TFC in, Solar out of Bracket A. Why did this happen? Then schedules were reset based upon that change Solar ended up with 3 possible games on Sunday. However games were set at 25min halves, which if you get to the finals you have eliminated an entire game...correct? 5 games, 50 minutes.

No conversations about issues until semi finals where a conversation ensued but no changes agreed to by anyone. I am sure there is more to it but again whatever. I respect the coaches decision because it is final and he is a very good coach by most accounts, can tell you that 13 kids on the Solar team were not aware that they were not supposed to play because they showed up 30 minutes early to warm up. Solar has a really good team that keeps getting better, game should have been played.

Yes it was a bad team beating a really bad team. It was not a case of missed opportunties there were really none to speak of. We tried to get that game "rescheduled" but I guess we are not with the right club. Coach sent a message that just showing up does not work, must have sunk in because they were pretty good the next day against Premier 4-1 and should have been much worse.

Let me read from the script, W-L's don't matter we are all about development.

Maybe the Texans Leo should have played Texans Marcio some one wrote. The Texans Leo team would have more legs to chase those balls out of bounds as the Marcio team plays a a great defesive kick ball out of bounds. I saw that several high school teams were looking for field goal kickers. There are several on Marcio team that could fit that need..... LOL.....You all are great ...Thanks for coming to the game! In this specific case, Solar boys were up between 5:30 am and 5:45 am to be able to make it to the fields at 7:00 am for their 8:00 game. They played another game at 12:30 pm, and they have to play another one at 4 pm....uhmmm no I don't think so....

Oh by the way.....how many games did Mr. Leo Maric played yesterday?, Yup.. that's right ONE and of course in the afternoon NOT at 8:OO am.

Now one last statement.....My Boy plays for FC Dallas not Solar, but I totally agree with Solars coach. Reschedule the final, be fair!

I played soccer for 16 years, and I LOVE this sport, it is my passion!

I have been in Texas only for a few months. I don't hate anyclubs, Lord I don't even know much about them!. I just don't like the idea of having kids playing 3 games in a day, I think it is just too much!. How about schedule all the finals a week later?. Yes I know another weekend with soccer...soooo?. Please parents tell me if I am wrong with my thinking?, why not finals the next week?

For everybody (no matter the club or team) have a great Thanksgiving and be safe if you are traveling!

Yeah, doc, don't you think that the teams from Kansas, Houston, Mexico and Alaska would like to make the extra trip back down here the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend to play that one game. That would be easy for them. Come on Rocio, get real!!

And, no, you don't get the benefit of the doubt as "knowing more about soccer" because you were born "overseas." First of all, that is a pretty broad term--I assume you simply mean anywhere else in the world other than the US--and I don't make sweeping generalizations about entire countries or continents. I am sure there are some people in Spain and England that don't know the first thing about soccer. Just like there are plenty of people here in the US that don't know the first thing about baseball, basketball or American football. The little lady that lives next door to me has probably never even seen a baseball game in person or on television. But she was born here so that makes her more knowledgeable than you or someone else born overseas who has played or coached the sport? I don't think so.

You don't think there are guys that grew up here in Texas that played and/or coached soccer for 16 years or more, that don't LOVE this sport and that consider it their "passion"? That's a rhetorical question. Maybe you do have more soccer knowledge than me or someone else on the board but simply saying you are from "overseas" is not going to convince anyone.
