I was trying to find the final score but obviously they lost. No doubt, great showing... Way to go kids.

Just goes to show what everyone says is true -- at this age, any team can beat any other team on a given day. That's why they play the game.

Also, "We gotta play it one day at a time." "I'm just happy to be here and hope I can help the ballclub." "I just wanta give it my best shot and, Good Lord willing, things'll work out."

Not to mention they tied Partain earlier in the tournament 1-1! Coppell came to play!

Congrats to Coppell FC. Beat the Titans and Solar both who are Top 10 teams...This might be the writing on the wall for them to make a significant run next spring in Classic.

The sad note was on Titans.. after they were defeated by Coppell a Titans' boy started yelling obscenities at his own teammates and engaged on a fistfight with another player :cry:

Congratulation to Coppell for going to the final. The beat a FC Dallas team 3 - 1 , a draw with Solar Chelsea 1 - 1, beat Titans 2 - 1, and Going thru two Over Times with Solar Chelsea before losing to them on penalty shoot out in the Final.

Titans are a bit mystifying, and have issues. However I do not think its right for Dallas2001b (his first post) to put down a team like the Titans. I have noticed that the Titans have a lot of lurkers that come out to put them down when things go bad for them.

Titans probably did not take Coppell seriously with the recent 8 - 0 win over them, happens with U11 kids. Coppell took the game VERY SERIOUSLY and played with their heart and soul.

Two Classic Div I teams , both can play, all depends on who want's it on a particular Sunday.

I say kudos to Coppell FC.
