Ok,I will play but it's tough with non-ntx teams...so I am on the home team biased side:

    Solar Red
    DTS

    RED wins it all

    wizards
    dt-red
    lightning

    a cake walk
    for Wizards

RED wins it all - I agree with this.

    Wizards
    Lightning

    a cake walk
for Wizards - I don't think it will be a cake walk for the Wizards - I give the Lightning a chance to win but think the Wizards win in a very tough, hard fought match. Lightning is back at full strength.

I will go with Solar red and the Mississippi team just to make it interesting. I heard that they went to the state cup final so they may have something Solar wins big....

I think Lightning will squeak it out against the wizards. Should be fun!

The Lightning lost 3-0 to the Wizards. It was a very physical game but they didn't have the speed to keep up with the Wizards striker and they took advantage of it. They played the ball over the top for two goals at the end of the first half and then in the opeing seconds of the second hlf their striker took an excellent shot from distance that caught everyone watching...hats off to the Wizards but would love a rematch. The Lightning held their own considering the circumatances.

FYI folks, Elite school of soccer is also a rec team out of Mckinney Soccer Association. Looks like they are dipping into competitive arena to see how they add up. Looks like they took on some D3 teams and didn't get slammed. I bet we will see them in Plano Premier next year and then onward to Classic after that. I have been watching them as they have been touring the rec tournaments and now looks like they are moving up.

    Responding to quote below:

To suggest that it was speed alone that beat the Lightening is a lack of accepting reality. The Wizards dominated TXL. Superior skills AND speed is what won the day. Of course we take no thrill in beating TXL, If anyone would have seen the end of the game you would have thought the Wizards did not win. Our celebration was muted due to the EASE in which we beat TXL. I commend you for getting to the final but a rematch would only end the same if not worse for TXL. I dont get on this blog often but if you are going to insinuate that we are a one trick pony then you force me to respond.
