Looks like a great list of teams for the TFC Cup. Should be a very competitive tournament and end of the year. Does anyone know which FCD Premiere team that is (Goncavles or Snell?) also if one of those DT teams is Dallas Texans South?



Predict Solar Dynamo in the finals against FCD Premiere ( either one) and if it is Snell, a win for FCD. If it is Goncalves, a win for Dynamo who beat Goncalves recently in the Primetime.

Just click the links for each team and it takes you to the Gotsoccer team page which shows the coach. The FCD Premier team is the Snell team.

Agree that this tournament looks very competitive. I wonder with 16 teams listed if they will do Gold and Silver or if they will have 1 flight with 4 brackets of 4 teams. If that's the case wonder if they'll do quarterfinals... If they only do semifinals that means you have to win your bracket to move on. That will make every group-play game take on even more significance.

Thanks, missed that gotsoccer link. If DTS, Goncalves, Fagen, Odyssey and Crushers White were there, it would a battle of all the top teams. At any rate, it will be a great end to the season and looking forward to seeing the teams play. Predict Snell's team to win and be either one or two at this age group by next Summer.

Incredible amount of competition and so much different than the Junior Blue Cup this year. Should be a great tournament. Looking forward to it. I still don't agree that Fagan's team is a top team. I agree with just about all the other posts including the predicted final teams. Time will tell.

updated top 16 with tournament results so far....

My own rankings are often times a little dubious, but I think this is a little off. Not sure how Tx Suns makes top six. Have they played and beaten any good SDL Teams recently. I am a little biased toward SDL and I know Suns dominate in CAL, but after this fall, would have them lower.

Also curious how FC Premier is #10. Did not see them in SDL D1 this fall and don't know of any close games they have played against top teams. Saw they had a poor showing in the Primetime but don't know much else about them.

FCD Toros and Andromeda: Have not seen these teams play top teams other than Toros had a pretty rough SDL season. Not sure why they are this high?

Odyssey and TFC Larry at 15 and 16 do not make sense. Odyssey finished 3rd in SDL D1, (with an easy schedule, but also beat Crushers White in EAL) and TFC Larry had one of the toughest schedules but if you watch them play, you can see they are a good team. Not sure how they wind up 15 and 16.

I think the top 5 are solid and will stay that way, but the others are a little confusing.

It's good to see some activity on the 02 thread.

TFC Larry is teaching a lot of new stuff so I think there will be a lot of kinks getting worked out in the Blue Cup.

These top 16 ratings are comical.

Why does everyone think that all the talent comes from SDL?Hurst tournament was dominated by Teams that play in the South,SDL teams didn't even make the playoffs.I know our team is strong & is not getting any recognition right now.TFC tournament is going to be great.Can't wait!!! DTS is playing in Arlington showcase against very tough teams from South.I'll be surprise if they win that one.They only have a total of six teams playing in that tournament.Would've love to see all this teams in TFC.

Please name a team from the South aside from DTS that you believe is strong right at this moment. Since you're calling out DTS I'm curious to know what team you're going to mention.

Whoa,DTS parents don't get upset now.DTS is a very strong team right now.I'm really enjoying these great tournaments & watching the kids work very hard,but the kids are only nine.Teams are getting better,kids are getting stronger,& faster.Eventually competition will even out.

I think most think SDL has the most talent because when teams from SDL meet teams from CAL and PAL and oPrimetime, the SDL teams normally get the better of it.
There are exceptions, but SDL teams usually are better. It will be interesting to see how the non-SDL teams do in the TFC Cup.

Do I hear a possible rumble in the Dirty South? How exciting! So who's this FC Dallas South team you mentioned? I hope this parent who said DTS won't win the Arlington Showcase is not from that team. If you are buddy you need to beat DTS's second team first and then call out DTS. I guess this guy doesn't realize that SDL also has weak teams like Sporting United so you can't use that team as your basis to determine that SDL teams are overated.

Wow,Guys my son's team is not even on your top 16 team list.We did play in the Hurst tournament with a few teams from SDL,Arlington,& Primetime.Mansfield Samba Gold & Fc Dallas are in the same league we play.We did pretty good in our bracket just didn't make the playoffs.I just didn't understand how you can just say that the Sdl teams are the best & say how one team is the best from all the other teams.I started to look at all the different tournaments & notice teams from the south do very well.I'm just happy to know that we are playing in a competitive league & know we are getting better.You guys need to relax.Geez!!!

if our kids don't want to be grounded again they will win the Arlington Showcase.....as a matter a fact i guarantee we will win and there will be no close games.......

the teams in this tournament are just not ready to play a team like DTS......

Very interesting schedule,looks like Solar Blue will have their work cut out for them whereas Dynamo's schedule appears abit lighter
