Traditional logic (and seeding) has Jesuit and FM Marcus in the final.

North mesquite will not go anywhere they have a football coach who lets the kids pick their teams

Ouch guess your not a N.Mesquite fan. However, I happen to think their coach has never admitted he is a know it all and still done a great job with his players. Either way they have been successful the whole time he has been the head coach. Didnt Ruben Luna play for him????

Marcus lost their top five players to USSF Academy teams. J Gall has his greatest challenge in several years.

If i am correct they won district last year and lost in the regional quarters or semis. They had a good run despite a not so great start. No offense but u get coaches sometimes that try to change how players play to suit them and then those players feel very uncomfortable. Mo doesnt do that. Dont be so hard on the old man. And Ruben left after his sophmore year for FCDALLAS. Track back to the fact that Luna didnt even play any club soccer till he got to high school and the coaches let him do what he does best.

I believe he was already with FCD before HS but verifying that.

yea just confirmed that Luna was playing with FCD since U13 coached by darren Hedges

Well dang i always told my kid of the kid that wasnt noticed till HS. Ooops. Still made for a promising story.

I think what it was about him is he started out in defense on a lower level team and was a bit chubby and slow? well thats the story i got from an FCD coach no biggie either way he is a success story!
