    Post  Every_NonAmericans_Dream on Mon Sep 21, 2009 9:05 am

yes ill probably do this every week.

CDI v Genisses: 3-0 CDI Will have no trouble with genisses's new big guys.
Inter-Milan v Solar: 0-1 Both teams already know who to mark so its bound to be a slow paced and most likely boring game.
TX Stampede v FCD Red: 2-0 Havent seen either team play since last year but from what ive heard TXS shouldnt have any problems.
TFC v Liverpool: 1-3 TFC has not been at its best this year and Liverpool will take advantage of that.
FCD White v DFW Tornadoes: 0-0 Havent watched FCDW so my score is off of last seasons games. DFW-Where are the goals gonna come from?

    TX Stampede 2-1 FCD Red
    TFC Blue 2-2 Liverpool

    9/26
    CDI 1 - GEN 1
Think CDI will struggle against size & speed teams. This is a semi-upset
    Inter 1 - Solar 2
These guys know each other now... Solar won't under estimate them this time around.
    TXS 1 - FCD Red 0
I think TXS has learned a lot from their CL experience... defense is priority.

    TFC 1 - LP 2
Qualifier rematch... maybe the coach make adjustments and make it a closer game than the last.
    FCD White 0 - DFW Tor 2
Tor will be able to score against this depleted FCD team

    9/27
    FCD White 1 - LP 2
LP depends on 2 players for their offense. FCD doesn't have enough to mark them.
    TXS 1 - CDI 0
Don't think either team has added that much since the CL challenge.

    9/30
    GEN 2 - TFC 1
TFC looks nothing like they did last yr. They must have lost players.
    DFW Tor 1 - TXS 3
Another CL challenge rematch; expect the same kind of game.

    10/1
    LP 0 - Inter 1
Inter has some skill and can keep possession. If they can limit LP's kick ball chances, Inter can win this game.

ill add the other games to.
    9/27
FCD White v Liverpool: 0-2 heard liverpool got a quick foward but not 100% positive on that one. If so then FCD White wont be able to keep up.
TX Stampede v CDI: 1-0 CDI Might have been a title contender but i dont think they have the pace or strength to keep up with almost any of the teams.
    9/30
Genisses v TFC: 1-0 havent seen GEN play but ill go with the crowd on that one.
DFW Tornadoes v TX Stampede: 0-3 the expierence that TXS has will help. Still dont know where the goals are gonna come from against the tougher teams. They always relied on one guy to do the work.
    10/1
Liverpool v Inter: 1-3 Liverpool will be over powered by this quick smart Inter team. Inter do have quality but relies heavily on there number 31...

cdi will flop there way to a win, but not without having to work it. CDI 2/ Genisis 0

Solar will crush this newbie and I suspect it will be 3 or 4 to 0 over Inter-Milian

FC red is a good possession team and should move the ball around the fairly strong TX S mid. I suspect it will be a very good game with FC coming out on top 1 to 0

A rematch from the qualifier with the same results. tfc 1/lfc 2

dfw is not the same team, however they still can play (minus "get the ball to the big kid") fc white 1/dfw 3

Hey bro-Don't think I'd but down TOR's game plan from last yr... LP does the same thing. A lot of Plano teams play kick ball, don't see many 5-6 consecutive passes strung together.
Have you seen Inter play? This newbie may be one of the few Plano teams that can possess and move the ball. They'll give everyone a run for their money, just ask Solar. I still think Solar wins the game but not by 3-4 goals.

Hey soccercap - not sure if you were with LP last year and participating on TM, but soccermom040 will certainly "tell you how it is" in her mind. Get used to it. It's a long season to go.

But I will admit that it's a bold pick to say one team will crush another when they played each other just last month (in a meaningful game) and it resulted in a 2-2 draw. But hey, it's your call. Good luck with your picks, but moreso, good luck with your team.

    I predict...no kids get hurt. I hope I'm right.

Thanks swindler, it is fun and even knats are one of Gods creatures so like a knat we will tolerate soccermom and have fun with her, have to keep a fun forum in the right perspective, hopefully she will, however if not, o well. Crush is certainly not meant in the physical term more of a view of the game outcome sort of way. I stand by the prediction and wish all teams well this weekend.

LP was very boastful last year. New to the league last year....going to make classic league on the first try. Well that fell flat...! Once again they are boastful. Must be an ego thing.
I vote with soccermom040 and think it is only pomp and circumstance on LP's part. If you shut the one very physical forward they have down, they don't have much.

    Inter: 2 Solar:2

Referrreing was absolutly horrendous. No cards were given when Inter should have been down to ten men within the first 15 minutes. Both teams scored once on the break. Both teams scored from a freekick. Solar scored directly while Inter crossed it in. A very, very physical game. Solar didnt play at its best in the first half, but im not trying to cover anything up. Inter played really well. And the game was very intense. Not even close to my prediction.

And swindler, of course i know

it appears that every Plano age group has scores posted except U14 boys-is the commissioner trying to teach you a lesson?
