No real advantages other than very good competition. It's about the same as Premiere League. Biggest difference is age shift to birth year. So you have a fundamental shift in that the oldest players on a team now are the youngest players on a team and have one year less soccer under their belt. Biggest disappointment so far is they haven't kept up with the Academy on facilities. In Academy each team has to have a grass field and a turf field as back-up if it rains. Not so in Pre-Academy. We had one time we traveled to Houston, spent the night in hotels and got up the next morning to play the game and they were cancelled because of rain. That just would not happen in Academy. So we had to pay travel costs twice for that game when we made it up.
