What is really needed is a Top 6 List. Then we can all argue over who's #7, #8, #9, #10.

Step back and think about that. Arguing over a made up ranking and who thinks who is better than who. Silly.

None of this matters until about 12 months from now. Then if you're #9 or #10 heading into the back half of the season then you're looking at falling to D2 and all the "top" teams are leaving you behind. So really, unless you're in the top 6-7 you can't say much.

That's right, none of the top teams are saying much. Only the ones trying to break into the top. Saying, "we're #10 or #11" is like saying you're D2 or the last place team of D1.

Enjoy your games and we'll keep an eye on the boards for the next "that was luck" and "we should have won" and "I'm better than you" comments.

Can't wait as I laugh and laugh at all of this back and forth and the soccer Gods smiled with a rematch.

FCD have a very good goalie who made many crucial saves. They defended with heart and intensity and a lot of fouling. I lost count of how many yellow cards they picked up. I have never seen a U10 team get so many cards (and they were all deserved!).
Finally DTS scored to tie it 1-1 midway through the 2nd half and then pressed for a winner. Close to the end DTS won a clear penalty but put it over the bar. DTS scored twice in overtime to win it.

For DTS I think this was probably a valuable lesson in how to break down stubborn opposition and keep your head up when things are not quite going to plan. FCD have proved to be a difficult opponent with their aggressive defending, breaking up the rhythm of the opposition. They also have a remarkable conversion rate on their breakaways. Soccerwise this game was not even close but scorewise it was.

Agree totally with your points with a couple to add......FCD boys played hard the entire game but as for soccer they just packed the box with 10 and prayed we would keep missing shots.....Anyone watching the game with any soccer knowledge would know that FCD played a bad game.....If you want to teach your kids to pack 10 in the box and slide tackle kids from behind after they beat you then this is the coach for you. He is excellent at teaching kids to play dirty and build walls....What a joke that guy is.....you call that soccer.....your kids will be out of the game in 2 years if you continue down this road with this coach......FCD should be ashamed to be associated with someone that has no business coaching.....but I guess if he can convince a bunch of parents to give him money than they will take it.....Seriously????.....Think back parents our goalie touched the ball once and you where all carrying on like you won something......I think the ball croosed the half line 5 times and thats only because your goalie had a pretty good punt.....Your defenders never moved higher than the top of the goalie box.....good lesson to teach your defenders ask your next coach what he thinks of defenders that never move up to shorten the field have you ever herd of an offside trap.....come on really.....good Soccer FCD??????.....I think not....your coach should be fired!!!

Let them decide that on the field playing. No one can contains a real good team like DTS because they will eventually come out but I can almost bet that not only the coach from DTS looked somewhat nervous but there for a while the patents from DTS we mute for a while in disbelief. Well that was some great soccer. Indeed the south is getting really good. FCD will be a team that a lot if teams will hate to play against. Those boys have heart and I'm sure they are going to get better. Look at their record, I believe they started back in July from last year. Wow, what an accomplishment. DTS will always be good but let's see what other teams come up soon. Great tournament.......
