What about the 3 Freedom Cup fields? Do you think they will still play? It is only 1 1/2 days to dry out...

I think the freedom cup will be fine but will FCD let their fields be used? Who knows

I saw the "bat signal" in the sky and knew that I must have been mentioned on the forums. :D
In GLASA, some fields drain better than others. I am not sure which ones are in play, this weekend, but I know that the City of Lewisville does not want dormant grass to get shredded. There is another tournament next weekend, then LHGCL and GLASA league play all Spring long.
Whether Liverpool, FC Dallas, or Triumph, I am confident that the TD's have to balance giving fields the chance to dry against giving teams (especially those in hotels) and will make a good decision. In the case of Liverpool and Triumph, they are also at the mercy of city recreation departments who can be unpredictable.
I apologize for the political non-answer, but I have personal and professional interests in all three of these events and wish them all luck.

This might be helpful for the tourney at FCD Fields this weekend.
The Michael Brown Winter Classic XI presented by BB&T is 100% going to play this
weekend. Please communicate this information with your parents and ask that they
refrain from calling or emailing about field status.
If there is a change in the playing status of the Michael Brown Winter Classic
XI presented by BB&T, that information will be communicated to team managers and
coaches in a timely manner and a hotline number will be given at that time.

Was out at 5 Star everything is good to go, we dont foresee any problems there. Good has now moved to McKinnish and the City of Carrollton said that we should be OK there so we are all set to play.
