How does that happen? I thought if you get released you could only play rec unless it was because you moved so far that practicing with your current team was impossible?

if you have a powerful reason to leave the team you can go to the north texas and argue your case and ask for a full release and is up to them to decide...

Well I think some teams will show some new faces for the rest of the season.FC Dallas Bazan got 3 new players from FCDallas Waters. I hope that all the players get along soon with your new teams.

Ace to answer your question, there is a transfer window. Players can move from one select team to another. It is easier (paper work wise) if the coach gives his/her blessing.
In the case FCD Bazan getting 3 players from Waters, its all within the FCD family so paper work and sign offs are a formality with FCD and North Texas Soccer that does the paperwork.
Some coaches sit on the paper work and refuse to sign, in which case North Texas releases the kid to rec.
One can also petition North Texas , and give valid reasons, lack of playing time is a very valid reason. North Texas then approves the transfer without requiring the coaches blessing.
Its all in the North Texas Soccer rule book, if you go to their web site. Never trust your soccer organization or your coach, take care of your own kid first.
Apologize to anyone that I have offended by saying never trust your soccer organization or coach, but it is how I feel.

Really?
If Bazan took them, I assume we are talking about 3 of the better players from Waters roster and not 3 kids that were mostly on the bench. Seems like an odd move for a team fighting to avoid relegation to D3 next year.

FCD Premier
FCD Bazan
FCD Blue
FCD Vedral
FCD Waters
Those are all the FCD teams in Classic League div 1.
So does one need to state the obvious.

I get it, but I can't imagine the waters parents can be too thrilled that this team makes a move like this one game into the Spring season.

Some parents don't really care if their kid's team is not a top ten team as long as their kids are happy and enjoy playing soccer

I'm with you on that just hadn't heard anything regarding that team. Winning means nothing if you don't get to see your kid play or you have to put up with,.. Well,.. You know.

PARENTS TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN KIDS!!! This is the key, I have seen parents that do not care how their kids are treated as long as they can brag that their bb plays on a "top" team.

It would seem to me that it's an opportunity for the boys moving to Bazan, the boys staying (more game day playing time), and an opportunity for developing boys on lower-level teams to move up to a more competitive environment. Sounds like Coach Waters is pretty enlightened and doing it the right way for the right reasons. It is about the boys after all.

Let me say that I like and respect Coach Waters. Watched him coach a lot and enjoy his style. Also it is about the boys after all.
So if it was FCD's motive to do what you stated above, then kudos to the organization.
If FCD Waters did not add additional players and are giving the rest of the kids more playing time, then I would tip my hat to the FCD organization.

I don't know the Titans coach very well but from what I've heard he was doing a very poor job coaching those kids. They are kw practicing with my son's team and they are doing pretty good already getting along with the rest of the players. Tomorrow will be their first game and I hope they do really good

im hearing not really their stronger players but bazan needed a goalie(his moved back home or something)and the midfielder he isnt bad but not one of their strongest and after this weekends results against the #8th ranked FWFC team seems like they(FCD waters) are better off.cts wrote:peregrino wrote:FC Dallas Bazan got 3 new players from FCDallas Waters.

Omega, I think you have it half right. Some very good players were transferred but a bunch of talented kids are obviously still there as well. I agree with 01SP, it looks like it was a win/win for everyone. Kudos go out to the FCD Central boys for playing strong against a very good team.

Looks like Waters keeper transfered to Bazan's team but Waters got a very good replacement, some even say an upgrade. Good game Central boys!

First, let me state that I have "no dog in this fight." The above quote seems like a dig. I apologize if my interpretation is incorrect. However, why do you have to make a comment like that? Why even imply that there was trouble on FCD central unless you were jealous for some reason that your child/relative was not invited to move up within the system.
Waters should be commended, FCD should be commended on how they have handled this situation. The Bazan team is stronger than central, no doubt. They are higher up the ladder in the FCD 01 chain. Waters saw that the Bazan team needed players. FCD recognized that the Bazan team needed players. They searched within the system. Waters promoted the players for their own benefit to move up. Wow! It just so happens that Central had a good showing against a quality side like FWFC. Good job, boys!!
You mean that FCD functions like they have a plan for development? You mean that FCD coaches (even lower team coaches) look for the benefit of the entire club, not themselves? What a concept I would argue that FCD and the coaches did what they thought would be in the best interest for the child on this one. Too many clubs present the facade that they function as an organized unit, when in reality they are comprised of independent contractors. The club and these hired guns are concerned only with the almighty buck and there own individual standing. These clubs do not have a true organized plan with a DOC that can recite what that plan actually is or how it is implemented. Kudos to FCD and Waters (a true mench!).
