One of my BBs coaches actually went to work for a parent of one of the kids on the team. That player went from 30% playing time to nearly 100% playing time, but I am sure that was a coincidence. Rolling Eyes

It's fun to post the predictions and stats on the threads but who's to say there's not a little gambling involved? And who's to say the referees aren't in on the threads? Just a thought...

That is not a can of worms but a pile of poop. Of course there are refs on the threads. They are all parents, former players, brothers , sisters, etc. Gambling involving the refs? That is hilarious. You are the over-the-top paranoid parent referenced above.

Much respect to you, my2cents. I read your posts often and they are spot-on. However, I have to disagree with you on this one. I am not saying that many referees on the forum OR the fields are dirty. I've got referees in my family as well. However, from time to time things happen on the field that cannot be denied. The PMs in my inbox tell a few of them. I am not a particularly paranoid person; I'm just a realist. It sometimes happens in competitive soccer.

Getting past the ofensiveness of your post on dirty referees, well, I can't get past it. Are you also saying that there must be some parents on the sidelines that are thieves and murderers as well? Even if I believed that, I would not offend an entire group of people to express it.
I have heard of bad refs, lazy refs, one-eyed refs, crazy refs, refs watching a different game but not once in 15 years of officiating have I heard of bribery amongst the refs, at the local or State level. I am not talking about the high level refs in other countries, involved in match fixing scandels that generally involved large gambling syndicates.
So, get you rmind back on those cheerleading Moms and stop the slander.
