There are quite a few FCD teams in this U9 division. Is it safe to say FCD Copa is better than FCD Predator? Which one of these teams is the FCD team to beat in this division?

Well are you asking about the FCD teams coached by Snell? he has two Predator and Copa with about 17 kids total. The boys are all mixed around and some get to play in both games etc....
I think they are both good teams with lots of talent. I am guessing your team played FCD Copa, what do you think about the team?

FCD Copa team had some good combination passing throughout the game. I did not see them turn those into scoring opportunities though. They played the ball back well to reorganize but nothing came of it.......good little squad though...the DT team had 2 or 3 goals come from crosses with good finishes. Copa didnt really have many scoring opportunities.

In regards to this score between FCD-Depew & FCD-Suarez. That is incorrect; FCD-Suarez played FWFC Saturday. Game called at half time. It had an early start time as well. It was 4-3 in favor of FWFC, or 3-3, when it was called.

Having had 2 boys play on Snell's FCD Copa teams, he is very good at teaching triangle and diamond shape passing / possesion game. The boys get a good sense of passing, helping from behind, and can move the ball around the outside effectively. However, my frustation with him was always with what he doesn't teach: attacking the goal, finishing, individual skills, and individual defense. He typically has a lot of talent on the Copa teams that usually can overcome those deficiencies and win most of their games until they face a good team...

What part of the metroplex is the Copa and Predator teams for Snell located?

Your comment about Snell and what is NOT being taught holds true for Gomez and Depew as well. I am lead to believe this is part of the "philosophy" of FCD (at least with those that practice at Pizza Hut park). When watching Saurez team during Liga it does seem that he deviates from the core philosophy...Does anyone know what get taught next year/season? Should we expect the same?

I have to agree with one of the previous posts. It's always good to teach triangle and diamond shape passing but at the same time there's more than that. Some of these coaches think they know what they are doing and don't allow or encourage creativity. That is why we dont have a Cristiano or Messi here in the United States.

Yeah you have to let them face 1v1's and build the confidence thru their training or your going to have a robot team. There is a high percentage of 1v1 situations in a game..take the player on, have the creativity to beat an opponent and opportunities will open up elsewhere.
