This is the age when everyone realizes, no matter what happens, its not really that big of a deal. It takes about 3 years to get there but once you do, soccer is more enjoyable.

Amen. And when you finally "get it" you can get a big kick out of reading the posts from the U10-U12 parents as you see how maniacal they are about their talented kids, their top ranked clubs, the horrible refs from the last game, the "over-the-top" parents at the other end of the sideline, etc.
