I am not sure. I believe LHGCL and Plano start the following or two weeks later, it maybe the boys younger ages do start that early. Most teams, if they are boys classic, would have a single game, if they did play, and I know the tournament folks would work around any conflict and you could get 3 to 5 games to jump start the season. Anyhow, that is what we are doing.

I would hope they could work this out. It's not like rescheduling is unfamiliar to the leagues.

    Update: Legacy Freedom Cup

Post  soccercap on Sun Jan 03, 2010 9:49 pm

Two weeks still to go on registration. Last year over 170 teams and should be at or above that. All ages filling up with academy, select and recreational all coming in. Games will be played at new Railroad complex in Lewisville and Chin Chapel in Flower Mound.

Has the issue of direct conflict with the D1,2,3 Classic league start date been resolved? This year, league play starts early (ie Feb 6...)

Boys league decided to start the younger ages a weekend early so yes it is the same weekend. Tournament folks already working with teams to make sure they work around any potential conflicts. You get 3 to 5 games in a weekend so even if you have one league game it should be a great warm up for the season.
