What team did FCD get a player from? There's been a few players that left teams over the break, mainly they were subs though so I can see why they would want to leave and find a team where they can get some playing time.
They picked a player up from FCD blue
Wow, it just dawned on me who the player from FCD blue is that joined Suarez. I don't get it...why would Bobby release him? (I thought it was supposed to be hard to get a release?) This kid has good soccer sense, never gives up, and is a great defender! It's not like Suarez needed reinforcing on the defense. Wonder what the morale is like to lose a good player going into the spring season? Go, I'd be pulling my hair out!

Why? Doesn't affect my BB at all. He is a fast physical player and sure needed a little help in defense to hold onto the D1 spot. Based on blue's play last weekI think we will be fine and didn't change morale at all. I guess it depends on the player. I did ask the rules regarding transfers and was told that BB would in no way be recieving one.
BB is just the type we look for. Smart, coachable, and plays w/ heart. Will try to hold that d-2 spot for ya. Suarez will get his skins the old fashioned way, via player upgrades.
2 jabs at Suarez whats up with that?
Ok True . Mabey alittle harsh. Suarez like any other coach will take upgrades when they come along. But the second year he was givin the d-1 spot in the 97 age bracket., Via the collaps of fcd south. Picked up the players from south , silver and boca when they collapsed. Again very nice guy. but please don't let him get " ALL" the credit for developing a solid d-1 team.If Castro was still around he would be coaching the top 99 team. Suarez would have been handed FCD blue. I know he's your boy just like you know who mine is . All that matters is if the bb's like them and are learning.
The 97 FCD Blue team that played in D1 last season, was put together only 2 weeks before the July 1st signing day, Suarez did do a very good job with what was available at the time, it was a team that was formed at the last minute and to be honest, included several players that had been cut from other teams. They signed two Players that came from FCD (Castro), one from OC United, one was playing in Arlington, two from Boca, one from Andro, one that did not have a team and five that were with Suarez the previous season. In the mid season there was one from Silver that came over.
They did not pick up any players from FCD South.
This team was expected to finish at the bottom of D1 last season, it did not, they finished 5th, and are 5th currently, solid team, coach has done a very good job.
