Plano/Jesuit game tonight was quite possibly the best high school game I've seen. Plenty of action on both sides. Great play.
Although the fans gripe more than a first Classic U11 game - all calls were one-way apparently (from both sides).
Plano was up 2-1 at half, Jesuit tied, Plano scored late in the 2nd half (offside), Jesuit with the winner with 2 min left - great goals.

Jesuit's last goal was great.

I thought Plano played too defensive in the second half.

However, both teams are not as good as last year's teams from those two schools. Looks like Jesuit will repeat the last few years - be ranked very highly most of the year and then lose just before or at regionals. No way either team makes state.

Agree on all accounts - I'm certain you aren't including the one linesman who couldn't outrun a tortoise, however. I had a friend ask if the crowds were always that big, I explained that was about 50 times a normal attendance.
