FCD Gold 1 Andro red 2---- Nice game. Andro took the lead in the last minute. Pretty even though. We put one off the post for each team.

How many goals on free kicks on your end ? I also know that Craft opened the score against Texan south on a free kick. I think that was the score at half time...

Yes, just one sitting out for yellow card accumulation. He'll be back next weekend.

    1. Indeed, Andro had a player out (strong mid/forward).
    2. I thought Figo doesn't recruit, just makes players better? Nice little pickup, should help you guys out in D2.
    3. Was a fun game to watch, but Figo's game tactics are pathetic.

What pickup are you dreaming about? We have the EXACT same 16 since tut..
You were 1 min from having your trap shut. Suppose next your gonna say we got lucky.
    Please elaborate on game tactics

Gap is narrowing there little fella, just like the head of an ax. Or are you arrogant enough to think Andro is vastly supieror? Don't know if you hit ye old crack pipe before games ?. But I think all the parents on both sides, who can watch a soccer game objectivly would agree that both teams play good soccer and the game could have gone either way.

Josema and all the kids did a great job of adapting without one of their main cogs . Who knows? If you would have had him all our players may have laid down in the pressence of greatness. Why do you even put that crap out .? so you can have an excuse? Thats why we lost to densk 2 weeks ago . We were missing a stud . But until now did you hear me crying about it. It's pointless. and a part of the game. Really it's an insult to the rest of your players 1 being your son.

Nobody crying and I didn't put that out there, just confirming what someone else put out there. Andro did not play well but thanks for the compliment. I'll save the good excuses for when we lose.
I could have sworn that kid who scored wasn't there previously, but perhaps I'm mistaken and the milk is kicking in a little. Actually think your team is playing nicely, certainly a big improvement.
As to game tactics, I'm referring to the way he purposely delays the game with his constant and annoying subbing when ahead in the second half. No biggie, we'll take the three and keep greasing the cog.

Well . Being that the game was tied for alot of that half I don't see your point . His subbing was also 4 in, 4 out , twice, So I would call that pretty efficent.
BTW we didn't play very well either and the player we were missing a few weeks ago was our STRONG mid forward. Makes me feel better how bout you?
It's called a backhanded slap or snide comment . They are wooven into your comments to the point , that you don't even know when your making them

Yes sir, next 5 should be all out battles. I think a few of us have a handful of tough ones left. Tough ones are certainly more entertaining from the sidelines.

Ax, you call out our coach on this forum and say his tactics are pathetic? I will tell you what is pathetic, and that is you posting your excuses and jabs after your team just WON A GAME. A good sport would not be babbling about missing players, making up BS about new players on the other team, and calling out the other coach like that without specific and legit criticisms after just beating an opponent. What is your freaking problem? Here is a tactic you should be more concerned about that I see every time we play you guys... player kicks the ball into open space knowing that you have a fast player that will likely go run it down. The reason you are not labeled a kickballing team is that you win lots of games, you do pass the ball well sometimes, but you still resort to kickballing inexplicably at times. Your kickballing is also done diagonally and sideways sometimes, which further hides this pathetic tactic. I am sure any responses to this post will go off on your team's great success this season, so fire away. Go ahead and put everyone else down for not "winning" as much as your team. But, is your bb really learning how to play the game like a pro, or is that even what you want? Maybe you are more concerned with wins (now that's pathetic at this age... you should know better by now). Your coach is certainly a good one, but I cannot understand why he allows the kickballing and lack of passing sometimes. Oh of course, what am I thinking, it's getting him wins.

Not sure I agree with your definition or description of kickballing, but to each his own. That diagonal pass switched the field and forced our player to get that ball and gave him options once he got there. And you are forgetting that these kids are 10 and just like anyone that is competitive, they will do anything to win.

And thanks for telling me what is pathetic, but I suggest you let Plantit defend your team/coach, it's much more entertaining.

Sorry, forbin, kicking to space, diagonal, forward and backward is the game. Especially if the passes are on the ground and not in the air. Axx, play nice with the others. We can't all be as good as you. Smile

Time out, all of you. Go to your respective corners. Congrats to all the kids who gave it their all; congrats Blue, my favorite color! Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh, help meeeeeeeeeee!(Monty Python) Although, I did hear, from a very reliable source, that Figo's team is finally playing soccer. From what we have seen over the past few games, maybe Plantit has been right, all along. Figo took the same group of kids and taught them how to play soccer. I agree with Plantit, the games these days can go either way. Some of us are luckier than others in that we have more finishers. I'm looking forward to playing all the teams that are left, and I still say that results could go either way.

As long as we have Plantit's attention: anyone from Figo's team want to address what I heard: that one of your assistant coaches is openly saying the #13, 14, 15, & 16 players aren't good and you'll be looking to replace them next year?

Refreshing to hear that at least 1 of the 4 FCD teams in D1 are playing soccer.

The bottom 3-5 players on every team are on the bubble. It's called the Sophomore Shuffle. Nothing wrong with it. Some players and coaches are just not a good fit...

No reliable sources needed. No doubt Gold is playin well as of late. We've played them twice in the last weeks and they are a different team. Looks like a couple of those kids are going thru a growth spurt. In fact, when they were in a huddle, you couldn't point out Figo. Just kidding, relax would ya.

To clarify, I wasn't referring to the players #'s, I was indeed referring to the last four kids that are on the bubble. I was just surprised that coaches openly talk about replacing kids before the season is over.

I don't think a good coach will threaten their players with dismissal. A coach that does has some serious personal issues he is taking out on the kids. Shame on the coach that speaks such garbage!
