Club Classic Oranje v. DT Figueroa - 5-4 ( I think) - it may have been 5-5, but I think CCO won 5-4, we'll see when they post it online: http://www.gotsport.com/events/results.aspx?EventID=8718&Sex=Boys&Age=10. Was lots of scoring, CC went up 4-1, DT came back to tie it or take lead - I lost track of the scoring . . . CC scored one at the very end to either tie or take the lead. Good game with some fired up parents.

Final score was 4-4 with a goal in the last minute by CCO to tie.

Hard to remember, but I thought CC was ahead 2-1 at half, then they scored 2 more early in 2nd half. Thats when DT started scoring. Then a final score in final minute, which would be 5.
But looking at the final score posted by the league, looks like you are right.

Anyone know what happened in the Southlake v FCD Spencer game. The 4-1 result surprises me.

My son currently plays for Southlake. That game was the worst I have ever seen them play, in a year. Our coach would agree. We did have a good deal of time between real games. Hopefully this game will shake off the cobwebs, and they will get back to being themselves. I noticed that FCD spencer is playing SDL as well as PAL, and I think that will serve them well, playing against those teams. FCS will bounce back.

I forgot to give credit to FCD-Spencer for playing a good game, and being aggressive. Can't wait to see them again.

My son's team scrimmaged FCS a few weeks back, I understand your sentiments. It was the first scrimmage/game back and we were really bad. Not that our regular practice routine and SDL season has started the team looks much better.

How does FC Southlake look for 11v11? I noticed the team does not have too many subs in PAL. Why didn't they play SDL? The competition is much better and it is good preparation for this summer. PAL has really dropped in quality this season.
I think most teams suffered from the extended break. Almost 2 months without playing outdoor soccer. Looking forward to sunny weekends.

The decision to play FCS in PAL was the coach's decision. I cannot speak for him, but I think 2 extra players on the field equals fewer touches for developing players. I believe that may have been the thinking there.
