WOW, really Congrats to Tigres!!!!!!
Contraulations go to Mr. Medina he out coached Mr.Smudjar mon. I like coaches that coach for love of game no monies...they tied good team. Defense wins championships and big games, MVP goes to Tigre goalkeeper #1. Tigre Goalkeeper is best in 98 division, he stopped 34 shots in that game that is why they tied 1-1.
He stopped 34 shots so does that mean Solar pretty much dominated the game? I give kuddos to the coach but you can't coach 34 shots saved unless that is the only person he coached. Defense wins games but if 34 shots were given by the defense doesn't say much about the defense, this is one game that sounds like the goalie saved. Where does Tigres practice at and when and where will they post open tryouts. I'd like a piece of that if the coach doesn't charge.
I didn't see it Ms. Sillymom I try to make the next game and I bet you that one will be close. See you on the pitch this weekend!
Although the forum does bring out a lot of Paul Bunyon and Pecos Bill stories - 34 shots is a little hard to believe (even under the assumption that there was no opponent).
The keeper's hands would have fallen off and a few shooters would not be able to walk after such a gun show. For the record, 10 is a heckuva lot of shots in a game, in an extreme mismatch 15-20 'might' be taken.
Whoever quoted 34 shots was also using a conservative estimate. Many of the total # of shots were obviously not on target, the sheer amount of goal kicks proves that 34 licks in the general direction of the Tigres goal was, in effect, a conservative guess.
